This Privacy Policy explains how Deoldify handles information when you use the Deoldify Android application.
Summary: Deoldify colorizes photos on your device. In the current app implementation, your selected or captured photos are not uploaded to a Deoldify server for colorization. The app uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform for ads and consent, and it downloads a colorization model file from a third-party model host when needed.

Deoldify lets you select a photo from your device or capture a photo using your camera. The selected or captured image is used to provide the app's photo colorization, save, and share features.
The current version processes the image on your device using local app storage and the device's memory. Deoldify does not operate a user account system and does not intentionally collect your name, email address, contacts, messages, or precise location.
Selected photos, camera photos, and generated colorized images may be stored temporarily in app cache or saved to your device gallery only when you choose to save or share them. Shared images are sent only through the Android share flow that you select.
Deoldify does not sell your photos. Deoldify does not use your photos to train an AI model.
Deoldify may request camera permission so you can take a photo directly inside the app. Camera access is used only when you choose the camera option.
Deoldify may download a colorization model file from storage.openvinotoolkit.org so the app can run colorization on the device. This download may involve standard network information such as IP address, device connection information, and request logs handled by the model hosting provider.
Deoldify uses Google AdMob to show ads, including banner and interstitial ads. Deoldify also uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage consent where required, including for users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.
Google and its advertising partners may collect or process information such as device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from network information, app interactions, ad views, ad clicks, diagnostics, and fraud-prevention information. The exact data processed may depend on your region, device settings, consent choices, and Google's advertising technologies.

Where required by law, Deoldify asks for consent before requesting personalized ads. You may be offered choices such as consenting, not consenting, or managing options. You may also use the app's privacy choices or privacy options entry point, where available, to review or change your ad consent choices.
Deoldify may share limited app, device, advertising, and diagnostics information with Google AdMob and related advertising/consent services for advertising, consent management, fraud prevention, analytics, security, and service operation.
Deoldify does not share your selected photos with advertisers.
Photos and generated images remain on your device unless you choose to share them with another app or service. Temporary files may remain in app cache until Android or the app clears them. The downloaded colorization model may remain in app storage until you clear app data or uninstall Deoldify.
Google and other third-party service providers may retain advertising, consent, diagnostics, and network data according to their own policies.
Deoldify uses Android platform storage and permission controls. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to limit app data handling to what is needed for the app's features.
Deoldify is not intended for children under 13 and is not designed as a child-directed app. If you believe a child has provided personal information through Deoldify, contact us so we can help address the issue.
Deoldify may be available in multiple countries. Third-party services used by the app may process information in countries outside your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Deoldify changes or when legal, policy, or service requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
