YOUR INFORMATION & YOUR CHOICES
Privacy policy
Your game progress and settings stay on your device. The Android game uses Google advertising and consent services, which can process information when online. There is no game account, in-app purchase or developer-operated analytics service.
1. Local game information
Parcel Panic stores completed shifts, scores, stars, stamps, cosmetic unlocks, daily and endless progress, sound and accessibility settings, optional ad and age-treatment choices, reward credits and ad frequency information on your device. These game saves are not sent to the developer. No name, date of birth or account login is requested to play.
The app does not operate a cloud-save service. Android app backup is disabled in this version. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it can permanently remove your local progress. Reset progress in the game clears game progress; your optional ad and age-treatment preferences are retained. If you use a browser edition, its save stays in that browser's local storage and can be removed through browser settings.
2. Advertising and consent services
The Android game uses Google's AdMob GMA Next-Gen SDK and User Messaging Platform (UMP) for optional rewarded bonuses, occasional ads between runs and consent or privacy choices. Ads require an internet connection. The core game remains playable without watching ads. This version has no banner ads, in-app purchases, game accounts or developer-operated backend, analytics or crash-upload service.
Google's advertising SDK may collect and share an IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, performance diagnostics, and device or account identifiers. These can include an advertising ID, app-set ID and, where applicable, account identifiers associated with signed-in devices. Google uses this information for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. Data sent by the SDK is encrypted in transit. Processing depends on consent, age treatment, device settings and SDK behavior.
See Google's GMA Next-Gen SDK data disclosure and Google's privacy policy for further information about Google's services.
3. Consent and ad choices
Open the game's Settings to change Optional ads, choose optional ad privacy age treatment, or review Privacy choices where Google's consent system requires that option. The game updates consent information when starting. Required consent forms are opened through an explicit privacy action or a request for an optional ad; they do not block starting the game.
Turning Optional ads off stops future ad requests made by the game and prevents ad placements from being shown. It does not delete information Google already processed, and it does not necessarily stop diagnostics from an advertising SDK that was already initialized. All core gameplay remains available with ads off.
Android's advertising-ID controls may let you reset or delete that identifier. These controls do not remove every type of information an advertising service may process. Google's privacy policy explains additional controls and data requests. The developer cannot delete records held by Google through the game's local reset control.
4. Audience and optional age treatment
The intended audience is ages 13 and up. No mandatory first-run age prompt or date-of-birth collection is used. The optional age-treatment choice is saved on your device and is used to configure age-restriction and under-age-of-consent flags with Google. It does not gate gameplay or verify your age; the game does not request your date of birth or exact birthday.
- Prefer not to say (default) or Under 16: conservative restricted treatment, including under-age-of-consent and child-directed ad request settings.
- 16–17: teen ad treatment, subject to consent requirements.
- 18+: standard age treatment, subject to consent requirements.
Every age choice uses a general-audience ad content limit. Restricted or unknown-age treatment can reduce ad availability. An ages-13-plus audience does not mean every player is legally able to consent to personalized advertising.
5. Offline play, permissions and sharing
Game code, artwork and audio are bundled for offline play. Internet and network-state access support ads and consent. Advertising-related permissions and SDK components support identifiers, basic device or network information, wake locks and foreground services. Haptics use vibration support.
The game does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, shared-storage, notification or billing permission. An IP address can still indicate approximate location without a location permission.
When you choose to share a result, the game opens your device's share sheet with result text. You choose the receiving app and recipient; that app's own privacy practices apply. The developer does not automatically receive that result.
6. This website and support email
This privacy page and the developer website are hosted on GitHub Pages. They contain no analytics, advertising scripts or tracking cookies added by the developer. GitHub may process request and device information to provide and secure hosting. See GitHub's privacy statement.
