Game data on your device
One Pixel stores your best precision, levels cleared, daily results, selected and unlocked skins, unlock notices, and sound, haptics and motion settings on your device. It also stores completed-run counts, ad timing, rewarded-unlock dates and recent reward transaction identifiers to enforce ad limits and avoid duplicate rewards. These are game records, not payment or account records.
Android uses private app Preferences storage, with migration of older WebView saves. The browser game uses local browser storage. This state is not sent to a developer backend. One Pixel has no account system, cloud score service or online leaderboard; no separate analytics or crash-reporting SDK is included in the reviewed version.
Advertising and third-party data
The Android app includes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). AdMob provides interstitial ads and optional rewarded ads. Google can process your IP address (which can indicate approximate location), app and ad interactions, performance and diagnostic information, and identifiers such as Android advertising ID, app set ID and, where applicable, identifiers associated with signed-in device accounts.
Google uses this information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. UMP processes consent information. SDK processing means this app cannot be described as collecting no data, even though game progress stays on your device. Development test ads may also contact Google.
See Google’s privacy policy and Google’s Mobile Ads data disclosure. Processing depends on the SDK version, consent and advertising configuration.
Ads and consent choices
The game requests updated consent information and checks UMP’s permission to request ads before initializing ads and at ad-request boundaries. Where a consent form is required and available through Google’s configured messaging service, the game presents it. If UMP indicates that privacy options are required, a Privacy options entry is available in the game’s Settings to reopen the form. The choices offered depend on your region and Google’s messaging configuration. Gameplay remains available if ads or consent forms are unavailable.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID through Android’s privacy controls where supported. Declining personalized advertising or changing an identifier does not necessarily stop all limited-ad, diagnostic or fraud-prevention processing.
Retention and deletion
Local progress remains until you clear Android app storage or uninstall the app. Browser game progress can be removed by clearing that site’s data. Android backup is disabled and the game does not offer save synchronization. Deletion resets your progress, settings and unlocks.
Temporary replay files use the app’s private cache. On startup and export, the app attempts to remove files older than 24 hours and files beyond the five most recent exports. Cleanup occurs when those operations run, rather than at a guaranteed deletion time; Android may also clear cache. Copies you save or share elsewhere are unaffected.
Google’s retention and deletion practices follow its policies and available controls. Clearing game data does not delete data already processed by Google or another app. There is no developer-operated account database to delete.
Security
Game saves and replay cache use Android’s private app storage. Shared clips use controlled file access. The Android app disables cleartext network traffic, and Google states its Mobile Ads SDK encrypts collected data in transit using TLS. No storage or transmission method can guarantee complete security.
Children and intended audience
One Pixel is intended for teens and adults aged 13 and over, and is not intended for children under 13. The game does not collect a birth date or offer account registration. An intended audience of 13+ does not establish that every player is above the age of consent for personalized advertising in their region. Google’s consent and privacy choices depend on regional requirements and available messaging controls. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about information processed while a child used the app, contact the developer at the email below; Google’s own privacy controls apply to data it processes.
